Have A Gay Day started on Facebook February 25th 2012. It started with rainbow takeovers, random memes, and a celebration and support for the LGBTQ+ Community and our Allies. It was designed to be happy, fun space of support and escape.
In 2015 Have A Gay Day moved to Dayton Ohio on 10 West 2nd Street what was known at the time the Key Bank Tower. The location was a bit small, just over 150 square feet. Located on the 22nd floor of the building there was a lot of shared space but for $395 a month it was a fantastic start to an incredible journey.
In 2018 Have A Gay Day kept on growing and expanded to Moraine Ohio. Located on 2210 Arbor Blvd in Moraine Ohio Have A Gay Day grew into a 1,050 square foot space. Building community gardens with the help of the Air Force and opening a food pantry and so much more. The groundwork had begun to give back so much more to the Dayton Community and beyond.
This is a video tour of our space in 2021. Since that time we have knocked out some walls and added a lot to our space.
