Welcome to the Have A Gay Day global headquarters and also were you will get a tour of some of the projects that we do locally. Our focus may be global but what inspires that global work starts at home. Thank you to all of our partners that help us by volunteering, financially supporting our work, and help us in their own unique ways.
Welcome to the Have A Gay Day Community Center drop in space. This is a community center that is funded and supported by Have A Gay Day and the many supporters across the world that make this space possible. We are completely operational based on volunteers and continue to expand and grow because of amazing people that help us grow. Without the financial support, the volunteers, and the passion of the community to create safe spaces and better tomorrows we wouldn’t exist. We are Community driven, and thank each of you for supporting us.
Our Community Garden is open from the spring to the fall and features a wide selection of fresh herbs, vegetables, and fruit. The garden is open from dawn till dusk and we allow people to volunteer to help maintain the space and also invite the public to come in to take as they wish. We do monitor the garden for liability purposes and to make sure that everyone is mindful of the space.
Fresh items are normally picked and handed out during the food pantry also. Our garden is a labor of love and we appreciate all the volunteers and people that have supported this space.
Have A Gay Day is giving back to the local community by partnering with the Food Bank and is a member of Feeding America.
Have A Gay Day serves the zip code 45439 and is currently open the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10:00am – 2:00pm and is open to the public.
Our program is often referred to as project K.I.N.D. “Kindness Inspired Nothing Desired” and is made possible by our community and the businesses that have made it their mission to support our outreach in the community.
a special gift for the Have A Gay Day project of your choice.
